Accra, Nov. 2, GNA - Dr Peter Quartey, a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistics, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), on Monday called on government to establish a special fund for revenue from the oil sector.

Kumasi, Oct. 17, GNA - Ms Joyce Aryee, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, has announced that the mining sector paid GH¢179,978,383, to government in 2008, representing more than 14 per cent of the country's total internal revenue collection.
